I am a geek, a reader, and a librarian – not necessarily in that order. I am the Digital Librarian for Adult & Information Services at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, Connecticut.

I completed my Master’s of Information and Library Science at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut. I earned my BA in history from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Prior to chasing after my calling as a librarian, I was a sales associate and Easy Tech at Staples in Branford and Milford, Connecticut.

I have an extremely wide range of interests in the world of information and libraries including library instruction, emerging technologies, collection development, and of course archives and preservation.

My other interests include fantasy and science fiction novels, films, PC gaming, and roleplaying games.

Current gadgets: Amazon Kindle Voyage, LG G4, Nexus 7, Acer Aspire AS5750Z-4835, Nikon D3100 DSLR.
